International Service Learning began in Costa Rica in 1994. Originally focused on providing opportunities for students to travel and engage in service learning projects during holidays, our scope has evolved over the past 24 years to include programs for professionals as well. In addition to our global health program designed specifically with students of the health professions in mind, we have programs in nursing, physical and occupational therapy, dentistry, optometry, nutrition and much more!
