We provide counseling for individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents. Medication Management and Psychosocial Rehabilitation.
This is a service that enables clients to process past, present and future concerns and issues. The therapist works with the client to establish goals for therapy and then works with the client to achieve these goals using varied techniques. Therapy types generally used by therapists are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality and Choice Therapy, Play Therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, Stanley Greenspan Floor time approach (for autistic children) and Solution Focused. However; depending on the nature of the issue, other therapy models may be used based on what research shows to be most effective for symptom resolution.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR):
This is a Medicaid service that enables clients who are struggling with a variety of mental health issues to become more self-reliant and independent by learning symptom management. PSR can be provided several times a week depending on the severity of the issues. The PSR therapist works with the client in their home and in the community addressing numerous areas such as Vocational/Educational, Basic living skills, Family, Social, Legal/Community, Psychiatric/Medical.
