Buchanan Returns to I.F.
The Kansas City Royals announced today that Brian Buchanan will return to Eastern Idaho this summer to manage the Chukars. This will mark Buchanan's second year as the manager in Idaho Falls. MORE ON STAFF
The 2010 Season Review
The Idaho Falls Chukars went through a rough 2010 season, but there were great moments along the way. The Chukars started strong under new manager Brian Buchanan; however the team finished the Pioneer League season 27-49 overall. Chukars to Play Ball in the Fall
With the Chukars 2010 season coming to an end, dozens of current and former Chukars' players have more baseball ahead of them this fall. 26 players who have spent some time in Idaho Falls during their careers have been invited to participate in the Kansas City Royals Fall Instructional League and four others have earned a spot in the exclusive Arizona Fall League. Watts Named to All-Star Team
The Pioneer League has named its 2010 All-Star team and Chukars first baseman/designated hitter Murray Watts has been named the designated hitter on the squad. This marks the third straight year the Chukars have had only one player on the 14-player All-Star roster. MORE ON WATTS
Former Chukar Wins Triple Crown
Former Chukar, Clint Robinson, has won the Texas League Triple Crown with an average of .335, 98 RBI's, and 29 HR's with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. Robinson was a Pioneer League All Star and league MVP in 2007. MORE ON ROBINSON
