You will definitely enjoy the unique decor and amenities, including Cable TV, of the Moose Suite ($75.00 per night*), the Bear Room ($60.00 per night*), the new Eagle Log cabin, with it's own romantic loveseat swing ($50.00 per night*), or, for that special day, or vacation, reserve the new Wolf Executive cabin, fully furnished with a full kitchen, jacuzzi bath, 32" wall-mounted TV, cast-iron propane stove, and washer/dryer, ($100.00 per night*). Relax in our Hot Tub. We also offer two stationary RV rentals, already set-up, in place, on 12x30 covered pads, (as low as $35.00 per night*). (See Photo Gallery, below.) * All rates are single or double occupancy, and do NOT include Sales and Travel/Convention taxes, which are additional. Additional guests, $5.00 each per night. Winter rates (October through April, Holidays excluded,) are discounted $10.00, per night, from the above rates. We also offer extended stay discounts during our Winter season.
Come visit us. You'll be really glad you did. Our small size gives you the feeling of having the whole property to yourselves. In fact, we encourage you to have your friends and family join you and reserve the entire property for your private, or company, party, reunion, or retreat.
We are located just off of Highway 95, 35 minutes southeast of Lewiston, Idaho. Exit Highway 95, to the town of Winchester. We are across the road from Winchester Lake, near the Winchester Lake State Park entrance. We are one mile from the Wolf Education and Research Center, and nearby to the Museum of Winchester History. (Winchester was originally a Mill town... our history is fascinating. You will want to visit our museum. See the website below.) We are also near the Historic Museum at St. Gertrude's Monastary, Dog Bark Park, the Lewis-Clark Trail, the Spalding Visitor Center and Museum, and, also, the Clearwater, Snake, Selway, Lochsa, and Salmon river areas. This is magnificant country! You'll love it here.
Custom vacation packages are available, including sight-seeing excursions, tours, horse-back trail rides, white-water rafting, fishing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, hunting, Hells Canyon Jetboat tours, and more.
A full deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Our refund policy is to return a full refund of your deposit, with 48 hours required advance notice of your cancellation, 50% refund with less than 48 hours notice of cancellation, and -0- refund for "no-shows". Forfeited deposits may be applied to future stays, at the sole discretion of Winchester Lake Lodge. Normally we give you full credit, providing you had the courtesy to call and explain why you were a "no show" or late notice cancellation.

Everything is within easy walking distance to your Winchester Lake Lodge room or cabin. Park your vehicle and embark on a walking tour of Winchester's visitor friendly businesses. If you need grocery supplies, you can stock up at Marshalls Meats, 924-7841, home of fantastic jerky and various specialty meats. Mike and Cindy Pratt also have a state Liquor Store located inside their business.
Located at the South Hwy 95 Winchester exit, is The Cadillac Ranch Exxon, where you can get 24-Hr. gas and diesel, as well as convenience supplies and beverages during normal store hours. (They also make super cheeseburgers, as well as Breakfast and other menu items!) The Gateway, 924-6831. across the street from Winchester Lake Lodge, has a Laundramat, Fish & Game licensing, propane, gas, diesel, and convenience items. The Gateway also carries clothing items with "Winchester, Idaho" logo. Friendly staff members will help you find what you need.

RV spaces open year-around. "Winchester's Cook'n Now!!" is the slogan of Calamity's Lake City Cafe', 924-6858, and "Home Cook'n" is what it's all about. Open early for Breakfast, with daily specials and take-out. Diane and Mike welcome you. You can try your hand at Karaoke, talk with the locals, and enjoy your favorite beverage, or a nightcap, at Syls Saloon, 924-7255. Look for the Syl's Saloon stretch-limo. Syl's is an institution, in Winchester. How many Saloons do you know of where you can arrange a ride home in a limo? Doo's by Debbie, 924-0401, offers Beauty Salon services, and haircuts, by appointment.
You can arrange a scenic trail ride, including an introductory riding lesson, through 41 Ranch Trail Rides, 924-7214, Beginners, or experts, are welcomed. Equine Phycho-Therapy Retreats are also available. You can take a once-in-a-lifetime Jet-Bot trip on the nearby rivers. (See links below) Our Winchester Community Library, 924-5164, has hours posted on the door, and you can obtain Internet access there. You will also want to visit the Wolf Education and Research Center, 924-6960, The Museum of Winchester History, 924-7920, (www.museumofwinchesterhistory.org) Local shops and historic attractions are waiting for you in the nearby Camas Prairie town of Craigmont. Craigmont is also the home of Dick and Jody's Prairie Club and Cafe', featuring more Great Home Cooking, adjoining Bar, and a drive-though. Both are Handicap Accessible. 33 minutes southeast of Lewiston off US 95
Winchester Lake State Park surrounds a 103-acre lake, nestled in a forested area at the foot of the Craig Mountains. The park has a modern campground. Picnicking and hiking are popular summer activities. In the winter the park offers cross-country skiing, ice skating, and ice fishing. Winchester Lake winters are brisk, with snowfall, and last into spring, but offer extraordinary beauty. The summers are warm, during the day, and refreshingly cool and breathtaking, in the evenings. There are healthy stands of Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir. White-tailed Deer, Racoon, Muskrat, and the Painted Turtle roam the area. The most popular activity is fishing for Rainbow Trout, Bullhead and Largemouth Bass. Small boats with no motors are allowed. Park office: (208) 924-7563.
