As any of you weather watchers know, last winter we experienced what meteorologists call an El Nino effect. Luckily the little boy was well behaved and provided consistent snowfall at just the right time. It was a very good snow year!
Sibling rivalry is rearing its head and the contrary sister La Nina is on her way for this winter. We are looking forward to her visit and the wetter and cooler weather the little girl is forecasted to bring with her.
NOAA weather models predict that “La Nina conditions are expected to strengthen and last through Northern Hemisphere Winter 2010-11”. Bring it on!
