Color temperature in lighting is measured by Kelvins. The higher the Kelvin temperature, the more blue the spectrum. For example, a 2700k light bulb is a warm white color and in the yellow spectrum. A 4100k light bulb is a cool white and is more white. A 5000k light bulb is considered a daylight bulb and replicates being outside on a overcast day and is more white-blue rather than yellow.
